Today started off great! I did 46 minutes on the treadmill this morning and hit my stride around 24 mins. AND, didn’t hold on! Whoo! I feel really good about that 46 mins and so glad I did it.

This week has gone really well for me. I have been focused on my goal and have tried hard to stick to my plan. I am a little worried about the weekend because things could go wonky. Especially when there are opportunities to eat out.

My partner wanted to take me out to a nice restaurant for dinner on Saturday but I asked not to go to that particular one — it’s Italian and so hard to make focused choices there. I am thinking that we might be able to go to another one where I could get a big salad with a nice protein. πŸ˜€ And as long as I stick to my planned calories, I think I’m good.

So today is a short and sweet blog — I am happy to have made it to Day 5 and excited to see what the scale will show on Monday. I wanted to lose 8.8 pounds this week. YEAH, I know that’s a lot…but I am telling you that most of it is water weight. πŸ˜€ But dropping the bloat is always a good thing. Next week’s goal will be a little more moderate.
